Anya (they/she) is a New York City-based illustrator and designer who focuses on visual storytelling, book design, and merchandise. They have a particular fondness for children's literature and an incessant need for stories, especially those that explore universal emotional experiences and human relationships. They also really like colors, pirates, and funny creatures.

Being politically and socially inclined, Anya believes that everyone needs to share and tell stories right now. This is why they make art (also because it's fun). They do picture book design/illustration and design things to sell but spends most of their creative energy on art and writing for dearly beloved personal projects.
